Career and Technical Education prepares students to be Alabama’s future workforce leaders. Created in 2002 and modernized in 2024, the National Career Clusters Framework has provided a shared structure and language for CTE program design across the United States. While Alabama’s specific program areas are tailored to our individual state needs and CTE programs, the Career Cluster framework connects our learning to industry.
